UE LifeSciences Inc. is a medical device company based out of Philadelphia, PA. We are focused on bringing effective and sustainable breast cancer solutions to life. Following is a brief introduction to our management team:

 

Mihir Shah, CEO & Founder

Mihir has extensive experience over the past six years in expedient commercialization of medical device technologies by making simultaneous efforts domestically in the US and India. In 2003, Mihir founded UE LifeSciences Inc. following the successful commercialization of IQ, a Drexel born non-invasive impedance cardiography technology. Mihir also served as the Regional Director - Asia for InfraScan, Inc. a Philadelphia based brain diagnostics company. Mr. Shah earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Drexel University. Mihir is the recipient of the 2001 Business Plan Competition Award presented by the Laurence A. Baiada Center for Entrepreneurship at Drexel University.

 

Matthew Campisi, VP Technology

Mr. Campisi co-founded Infrared Sciences and served as VP of Computer Systems since the company’s formation in 1999. He was responsible for software design management, algorithm development, and hardware and software automation. Prior to that, Mr. Campisi managed software development for Globecomm Systems Inc (NASDAQ: GCOM). His area of expertise included design of specialized real-time hardware status and automation systems for commercial and government satellite earth station terminals, as well as artificial intelligence software. Mr. Campisi holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (BSCompE) and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from Polytechnic University, where he currently teaches several graduate electrical engineering courses. He has a pending US Patent.

 

Davood Tashayyod, Senior Director

Mr. Tashayyod founded Law Manager, Inc., which grew to become the premier supplier of Legal Case Managerment Systems to corporate legal departments and government agencies and eventually sold Law Manager to Thomson. As VP of Federal Systems, he developed the Federal business arm Thomson Elite. Currently as Coulter Project Director he oversees the commercialization development of Drexel University’s Biomedical technologies including spin-offs and licensing activities.
